Bibliotherapy storybook choice and program effect on children¡¯s peer relationship

Abstract
This study progressed in two-stage processes. In 1st step, researchers develop a questionnaire that can estimate suitable storybooks on bibliotherapy for children¡¯s peer-relationship elevation. Children¡¯s psychological counseling and literature experts evaluated a list of storybooks for peer relationship on the base of this questionnaire. Second-step, it proceeded with bibliotherapy program that consisted of 6 children in a after school class who all low income families located in Seoul. The program ran 8 sessions, each session for 90 minutes twice a week. The results of this study showed bibliotherapy program was effective in improving peer relationship.
